For this reason, the Supreme Leader called luxurism and aristocracy as a great threat and recommended the Islamic lifestyle in the statement of the Second Step of the Revolution.<br>Therefore, in this research, using library sources and descriptive analytical method, the consequences of authorities' luxurism are explained and investigated with emphasis on the 16th verse of Surah Al-Isra. The findings of the research indicate that the luxurism and aristocracy of the authorities cause them to become reckless and irresponsible towards the society and to distance themselves from the people. It also paves the way for consumerism in the society and takes away the motivation of production and causes the dependence of the society and the foundation of corruption and oppression and forgetting God Almighty, each of these factors alone is enough for the backwardness and fall of a society, especially the Islamic society. در این پژوهش هدف آن است که با تبیین پیامدهای تجمل‌گرایی مسئولان، مردم و مسئولان از عواقب این پدیده آگاه شوند و از رواج سبک زندگی غربی در جامعۀ اسلامی جلوگیری شود، چراکه بر اساس آموزه‌های دینی و شواهد مسلم تاریخی یکی از عوامل اصلی انحطاط جوامع و حکومت‌های قدرتمندی مثل آندلس و صفویه «تجمل‌گراییِ» سردمداران و مسئولان بوده است. به همین دلیل، مقام معظم رهبری تجمل‌گرایی و اشرافی‌گری را بلایی بزرگ یاد کرده و در بیانیۀ گام دوم انقلاب، سبک زندگی اسلامی را توصیه نموده‌اند. ازاین‌رو، در این پژوهش، با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه‌ای و به روش تحلیلی‌توصیفی، پیامدهای تجمل‌گرایی مسئولان با تأکید بر آیۀ 16 سوره اسراء تبیین و بررسی می‌شود.<br>یافته‌های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که تجمل‌گرایی و اشرافیت مسئولان موجب سرمستی و بی‌مسؤولیتی آنان در قبال جامعه و دور شدنشان از مردم می‌شود. همچنین راه مصرف‌گرایی را در جامعه هموار می‌کند و انگیزۀ تولید را می‌گیرد و موجب وابستگی جامعه و زمینه‌ساز فساد و ظلم و فراموش کردن خداوند عزوجل می‌شود که هریک از این عوامل به‌تنهایی برای عقب‌افتادگی و سقوط یک جامعه به‌خصوص جامعۀ اسلامی کفایت می‌کند. https://arq.quran.ac.ir/article_153438_1d8ccce8b1f6249054e9159799c556cd.pdf
