Moral vices are reprehensible traits that, through their entrenchment in the conscience and subconscious of people, help them to distance from the divine path and ultimately lead to punishment in the hereafter. In the twentieth supplication of the Sahifah al-Sajjadiyyah, known as Dua Makarim al-Akhlaq, Imam Sajjad (A.S.) was exposed to religious teachings and knowledge according to the political, social and cultural conditions of his time, directly and indirectly, benefiting from the teachings and lessons of the Holy Qur’an, and he presented the most important moral and social virtues and vices. This research attempts to achieve this goal represented in the question: What are the Qur'anic documents and evidences for the virtues and vices of social morals that were mentioned in the supplication of Makarim al-Akhlaq in al-Sahifah al-Sajjadiyyah? Using a descriptive-analytical method in this research, it has been clear that the Imam Sajjad (A.S.) stated the most important virtues of social morals such as: good relationship, benevolence and correctness, serving the people, taking responsibility, following a good example, preserving human dignity, etc. in the form of supplication and prayer to God. The acquisition of these virtues in the form of a faculty makes a person avoid moral vices such as: fault-finding, arrogance, pride, greed, envy, extravagance, suspicion, scheming, etc., and through communication with other people helps him to stay away from social harms and finally, by creating a peaceful and pure environment and society, it brings ultimate happiness to him and to others. فضائل اخلاقی، صفات پسندیدهای است که با رسوخ در ضمیر و باطن انسان، موجب استحکام رابطه بنده با خداوند متعال شده و کمال و سعادت نهایی را برای فرد در پی دارد. رذایل اخلاقی نیز صفات نکوهیدهای است که با رسوخ در ضمیر و باطن انسان، سبب دوری بشر از مسیر الهی و درنهایت عذاب اخروی را برای وی در پی دارد. امام سجاد )ع( در دعای بیستم صحیفه سجادیه که به دعای مکارم اخلاق شهرت دارد، با توجه به شرایط سیاسی، اجتماعی و فرهنگی زمانه خود بهصورت مستقیم و غیرمستقیم به بیان آموزهها و معارف قرآنی اهتمام ورزیده، با بهرهمندی از معارف و مستندات قرآن کریم مهمترین فضائل و رذایل اخلاق اجتماعی را ارائه فرموده است. این پژوهش درصدد دستیابی به این هدف است که فضائل و رذایل اخلاق اجتماعی دعای مکارم اخلاق صحیفه سجادیه بر اساس چه مستنداتی از قرآن کریم مطرحشده است؟ بررسی توصیفی تحلیلی این مسئله گویای آن است که این امام همام مهمترین فضائل اخلاق اجتماعی را همچون: حسن معاشرت، خیرخواه و ناصح بودن، خدمت به خلق، مسئولیتپذیری، برگزیدن الگویی شایسته، حفظ کرامت انسانی، و... در قالب دعا و نیایش به درگاه الهی بیان داشته است. کسب این فضائل بهصورت ملکه در انسان موجب میشود، از رذایل اخلاقی چون: عیبجویی، سبّ، فخر، طمع، حسد، اسراف، سوءظن، مکر، و... دوری جسته و در اجتماع و ارتباط با دیگران، از آسیبهای اجتماعی دوری کرده و ضمن ایجاد محیط و جامعهای آرام و پاک، سعادت غایی را نیز برای خود و دیگران به دنبال آورد.
