One of the Quranic interpretation types is social interpretation. A study of the foundations of social interpretation reveals that social interpreters, when discussing each foundation, have focused more on one foundation in particular without noticing its connection to other foundations. They also neglected the types and differences of foundations, and thus to the precedence and delay of each of them. Therefore, almost nothing was mentioned about the influence of these foundations and their impact on each other. In this article, an attempt has been made to highlight the shortcomings of the fragmentary and partial view of the bases of social interpretation, while briefly reporting on the foundations of social interpretation, and to show the advantages of a systemic and holistic view of the foundations of social interpretation. The main question is what effect does a systemic view of the bases of social interpretation have on completing the foundations of social interpretation and, consequently, the perceptions of social interpreters? The purpose of this study is also to criticize the fragmentary view of the bases of social interpretation and to explain a systemic view of the bases of social interpretation. The method used in this article is analytical-comparative. The results of the research show that the fragmentary view has suffered from argumentative weakness and a decrease in the function of the foundations; while the holistic and systemic view has led to an increase in the function of the foundations, their argumentative strengthening, a precise definition of them and finally a plurality of interpretive perspectives, and the purposeful precedence and delay of the foundations.
