This study aims to clarify the types and methods of a desired political-social transformation within the framework of the transcendental model of the Holy Qur’an. In this regard, it has been attempted to use the descriptive-analytical approach coupled with thematic interpretation, to present a model based on Qur’anic teachings by studying the social and political verses of the Holy Qur’an pertaining the social transformation. Therefore, the present research purposes to analyze and deduce Qur’anic ideals (idealism based on the Holy Qur’an), influenced by the theory of “cognitive idealism,” based on the context and content of a number of Quranic verses in terms of political and social development. The findings show that the Holy Qur’an in order to bring about change in society and social-political institutions, emphasizes on issues such as transformation in people’s beliefs and faiths, expanding monotheism in the intellectual and practical arena, establishing equity and expanding the scope of social justice, religious fraternity and brotherhood, and individual responsibility (internal transformation) and eventually, social responsibility and etc. as the basic variables for the idea of transformation in the faithful society.
