Social religion-based education is the guidance and management of the process of human growth and development in the context of society. Since the process of education is based on foundations (descriptive, realistic propositions), and the differences in educational systems are due to their differences in foundations, so, the present study – which aims to explain religion-based social education - has examined the theological foundations of social education based on the verses of the Qur'an using a descriptive and analytical method. The formulation of education in Quranic terms - during which an individual must rely on knowledge, deeds, and choice to direct towards the true Lord and abandon others who do not have the status of Lordship (so that only one will governs him) - indicates the inevitability of allocating a significant part of educational activities to the social aspect because human social tendencies always place him in various social situations, and social education helps man to cultivate his personality traits, while maintaining his individual independence without becoming an isolated and alien element of society, to have an independent will and not to be melted in the general will of society. The research findings show that such a state of social education is based on human-centered, community-centered, and history-centered theological foundations that arise from Lord's divine arrangements in the social administration of man. Therefore, without paying attention to these generative realities and their description, the course of Quranic education will not lead anywhere.
